Art Director - Wedding Ideas Magazine
​​​​​​​I was approached to design the first issue of Wedding Ideas in 2003, creating the brand and feel of this new monthly national publication.
The title grew into one of the UK's best selling bridal magazines, distributed across major retail outlets including supermarkets, WH Smiths
and well-stocked newsagents.
This content-rich, glossy magazine was A5 in size and produced every 4 weeks. Overflowing with the latest ideas for brides-to-be, the design needed to be impactful and eye-catching whilst showcasing the wide-ranging, fast-paced content. I was responsible for the design and production of Wedding Ideas, managing the Art team and overseeing the work of the Art Editor, Senior Designer and Ad-Designer before finalising the artwork and sending to print. I organised the cover photoshoots, selecting and booking models, photographers and studio time.
I liaised with printers to quality control production, and press pass covers.
When the technology became available, I also created the digital version of Wedding Ideas magazine. I added a range of interactive features and released the app to iTunes Connect for the magazine to be sold via
the App Store.
